Q - What is Fair-Trade clothing?
A - Fair-Trade clothing is grown and manufactured under very specific
conditions, where everyone involved gets a fair price for the work they
do. For more information on the exact details under which Fair-trade

in the 'People We Like' section of
this site.
Q - What is Organic Clothing?
A - The production of Cotton is the second largest agricultural use of pesticides in the world. Five of the top nine pesticides used on cotton are classified as cancer causing chemicals. It takes one pound of chemical fertilisers and pesticides to conventionally grow the three pounds of cotton to make a t-shirt and a pair of jeans! Cause + Affect Ltd only use organically grown cotton in the production of our t-shirts.
Q - How do I know which size t-shirt I need?
A - On every product page there is a size guide (top-right of the information section on each product page) which will help you to work out the size you need.
Q - How can I be sure my card details are secure during the payment process?
A - We use Protx payment pages to take payment by credit/debit cards, please locate and click on the padlock image which can be found on our payment pages to confirm that your details are collected in a secure environment. This padlock shows that your details are collected using 128 bit secure SSL technology. Once you have entered your details, Protx will securely send these details to the bank to be authorised. This is a completely secure process and we ensure that your details cannot be accessed by a third party.
Protx is audited by an independent auditor on a regular basis to ensure that we comply with the latest security standards set out by Visa and MasterCard.
Q - How will my item be delivered?
A - We use Royal Mail's First Class Recorded delivery service for UK deliveries which is insured against loss and will require a signature when delivered. International deliveries are sent by Airmail, prices for various overseas countries will be stated during the checkout process.
Q – My item arrived damaged/marked, what do I do?
A – Any items arriving in unsatisfactory condition can be returned for an exchange. Please return any such items (for return address see the bottom of the page) to us using Royal Mail recorded delivery (or the equivalent postage option if returning goods from abroad) and we will replace the item immediately and refund you for the postage cost incurred by returning the item (only allowable can up to 14 days after receipt of your item, this does not affect your statutory rights). Please e-mail us using our contact form before returning your item putting your transaction code in the subject line.
Q – I wish to exchange my item for a different style/size, what do I do?
A – We will accept goods back in the above circumstances only if they are in their original condition and packaging. Please return any such items (for return address see the bottom of the page) to us using Royal Mail recorded delivery (or the equivalent postage option if returning goods from abroad) and we will replace the item immediately (only allowable up to 14 days after receipt of your item, this does not affect your statutory rights). Please e-mail us using our contact form before returning your item putting your transaction code in the subject line and stating which item/size you wish to have in exchange (if the exchange item is a different price to the original we will arrange to either refund/bill the extra amount to your card).
