Over time we intend to develop these pages into our community forum. We're not sure exactly what form that will take yet but it may be that we keep you updated of our progress and any interesting current ethical topics through our blog, or set up a question form so you can ask us anything you like, be it about human rights, the environment or just life itself! On a lighter note we may also provide links to any amusing videos or podcasts we come across. What would you like to see here, let us know via the contact us form?

We also intend to set up a photo competion challenging our customers to send us in photos of them doing a 'Good Deed' whilst wearing a Cause + Affect t-shirt. We'll also keep you updated on our plans for a community day later in the year, hopefully an opportunity for us to meet some of our customers and help the community or environment at the same time.

Finally, we'll post our 'Tip of the Week' to help you make a small change to your lifestyle that will have a significant impact on people or the environment.

Tip of the Week - electronics recycling

We live in a disposable society. Anything that breaks is easily (and cheaply) replacable, and technology quickly becomes obsolete. A great example is mobile phones and computers. Your phone breaks, or you get a new one...what happens to the old model? Chances are it'll just be thrown away, or left at the bottom of a drawer. The problem is that often they end up in a landfill, with dangerous chemicals leaking out, or the valuable metals in them going to waste! Luckily, most recycling centres will take old electronics for repurposing or safe recycling. There are even services which will pay you for your old phones! Take advantage of these, get rid of your old gadgets, and save the planet at the same time!
